MANITOWOC – Jack Jagemann, age 65, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024 surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on January 24, 1959 along with his twin sister Jill.
Jack was an incredible brother and uncle with a huge smile and a great sense of humor. He loved playing cards, watching Packer games and was a talented artist. He enjoyed smoking, soda, sweets and a good steak & shrimp dinner and would look for veterans everywhere he went and thank them for their service. He was a cherished part of our big family and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy Jagemann and was born 6th out of 9 children in the Jagemann family. He attended St. Paul’s Elementary School and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1977. He was employed by Jagemann Plating Company and Manitowoc County Recycling Center.
Survivors include 5 sisters and 1 brother: Jean (Mark) Powell, Broomfield, CO; Jim (Kathy) Jagemann, Green Bay; June (Mike) Brefczynski, Oshkosh; Jill Jagemann (his twin sister), Lafayette, CO; Judy Bessert, Appleton and Jessie (Mike) Reigh, Wautoma.
Nieces and nephews include: Sarah/Josh Kainz and Matt/Amber Christman (Jo Ann Perronne), Phil/Jen Powell and Lindsay/Dexter Varra (Jean Powell), Kristie Martinez, Michael, Rachael, Melissa and Nicole Jagemann (Jim Jagemann), Tyler/Brooke Brefczynski and Jared/Angelica Brefczynski (June Brefczynski), Caylee/Mike Montgomery and Sophia/Eric Bell (Jill Jagemann), Jason/Briana Bessert and Jeremy/Caitlin Bessert (Judy Bessert), Courtney/Hayden Zimmerman and Cassie Reigh Egan (Jessie Reigh) and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by both his parents, Joe and Dottie, sister Jo Ann Perronne, brother Joe Mike Jagemann and brother-in-law Glen Perronne. In keeping with Jack’s wishes, a small private family service is being held.
The family wishes to thank Bristol Hospice, Meadowbrook Nursing & Rehab, Appleton, Fresenius Kidney Center, Appleton, Villa Hope Group Home, Appleton and Oak View Adult Family Home, Spooner.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be made in Jack’s name to local mental health organizations and dialysis centers.
