Jack Pribek Obituary

Jack Robert Pribek, 77, of Two Rivers passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024 at his home.

Jack was born on August 11, 1947 in Chicago, IL. After various moves, he located to Manitowoc. He graduated from Lincoln High School, class of 1965. He went on to attend several technical schools.  On March 16, 1968, Jack married the former Carol J. Schmeiser in Menomonee, MI. She preceded him in death on January 5, 2018, just weeks before their 50th anniversary. They resided in Two Rivers, Jack was employed for over 46 ½ years at Thermo Fisher Scientific/Hamilton Industries as an industrial electrician. He was a member of the Machinist Union and served at several management positions at the union. Jack served for over several years as president of the North Lakes Poygan Sanitary district where he oversaw the operations. Jack loved spending time at his summer home on Lake Poygan.

Jack also spent time at his cabin deep in the woods at the cozy valley in Mellen. He enjoyed the time with his friends of many years and several generations hunting there. Jack enjoyed hunting and the venture of the deep woods. He was a collector of many types of antiques for ending auctions, estates, and presales. He was an avid football fan, and enjoyed cooking.

Jack is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Nicole (Bruce) Fulton; one grandson: Jordan (fiancé Edgar Soto Juarez) Cisler, and Jordan’s father: David (Jody) Cisler; two sisters-in-law: Gail Kreisa, and Deborah (John) Zeman; his hunting family; nieces, nephew, other relatives and special close friends also survive. Jack was preceded in death by his wife: Carol Pribek; and father-in-law and mother-in-law: Clarence and Lorraine Schmeiser.

A celebration of Jack’s life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Lakeshore Life Celebration Center, 3613 Waldo Blvd, with Rev. Kim Henning officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the Lakeshore Life Celebration Center from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
