Jaisiah Dauquan Owens, age 25, of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, passed away on September 23, 2025.
Born and raised in Manitowoc on April 4, 2000, Jaisiah was a proud graduate of Lincoln High School, Class of 2018. He worked at Manitowoc Tool and Manufacturing, where his hard work, humor, and easygoing nature brightened the days of those around him.
Jaisiah will be remembered as a devoted son, father, brother, and friend. He had an unforgettable laugh and smile that could fill a room, and his joyful, silly, and loving spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He lived his life fully and happily, bringing light and laughter wherever he went.
A quote that deeply resonated with Jaisiah was, “Life ain’t fair so I can’t play fair, it’s all love,” and Only the Strong Survive — words that perfectly reflect his strength, heart, and way of living.
Jaisiah is survived by his loving mother, Mystalynn Owens, and his stepfather, Lorenzo Christian; his cherished son, Kairo Owens, and Kairo’s mother, Adriana Gomez, along with her family. He leaves behind his beloved siblings — Sa’Qouiah, Trae’Andric, Jai’Alouis, Trae’Zo, and Sa’Raelynn — as well as his dear grandmother, Sharon Owens. Jaisiah is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who loved him deeply, including: Zeola Owens; her son Ryan Scherer II and his father Ryan Scherer; Floyd and Auntie Pang Tang; Aunt Raneatha (Justin) (Owens) Carter; Uncle Aundre Owens and Cyrena Owens (and their daughters Caliana and Carielle); LaTeecia (Damian) Groothoff and their children Tyrus and Quintella; Cedric (Meghan) Owens and their children Keiana, Tashon, and Maleah; Narissa; Jasmine Polak; and Alicia Okon-Hasley; his cousin and “big brother,” Shai Owens, and La’Ntria Hayes, along with their children Carmelo, Cortez, and Cortnee; many cousins in the South who will forever cherish his memory.
Jaisiah shared a special bond with his best friend Terry Johnson and family, and is lovingly remembered by his second family, the Nolden family — Dean, Julie, Lindsay, Jack, and Kate — who held a special place in his heart.
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Floyd Owens Sr., and his great-grandmother, Zeola Nelson Owens, whose love and legacy continue to surround him.
A funeral service to honor Jaisiah’s life will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Pfeffer Funeral Home, located at 928 South 14th Street, Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
Jaisiah’s laughter, love, and light will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
