Jeffrey Lee Lambert, 69, of Manitowoc passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at his residence after a long battle with cancer.
Jeff was born on January 26, 1956, in Manitowoc son of the late Gerald and Joyce (Peltier) Lambert. Jeff spent life pursuing his passion for wrenching anything with an engine and making it go faster. Whether he was tinkering with it because it was broken or he could make it faster, he was always wrenching on one of his many projects including classic cars, snowmobiles, derby cars, or motorcycles through the years, to joining friends in the pits at the dirt or drag tracks lending a helping hand. He also spent many years as a crew chief for Jagemann Motorsports, and then owning & operating Complete Repair LLC – there was one thing in common – he had a wrench in hand and was willing to help anyone anywhere, eager to share his knowledge to teach others and always learning something new. If you were willing to listen he was willing to teach.
Jeff is survived by his daughter: Taryn Lambert, Manitowoc; grandson: Chase Hilt, Manitowoc; two sisters: Anne Ray, Manitowoc and Julie Rathe, Green Bay; one brother: Greg Lambert, Manitowoc; sister-in-law: Diane Lambert, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives also survive. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents: Gerald and Joyce Lambert; two brothers and sisters-in-law: David Lambert, Richard “Dick” (Berndette “Bunnie”) Lambert, and Kathleen Lambert; and one brother-in-law: Roger Ray.
A celebration of life to honor Jeff’s life will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 at The Hide Out, 4131 Clover Road, Manitowoc, from 3:30 – 6:30 pm.
