Jeffrey L. Osesek

Jeffrey L. Osesek, age 70, passed away peacefully on Monday, October. 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Jeff was born April 6, 1955, in Manitowoc, son of the late Henry and Elaine (Buretta) Osesek. He graduated with the class of 1973 from Lincoln High School. After high school, Jeff enjoyed a long career as a professional truck driver, logging countless miles across the country. On March 15, 2000, Jeff married the love of his life, Jane A. Skor, on the island of Saint Thomas.

Survivors include his beloved wife: Jane Osesek; his children: Mike (Jen) Chynoweth; Chris (John) Stephan; Anthony (Megan) Groothoff; Sara (John) Schultz; Jenny (Ben) Bauer; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; best friend Al (Pam) Burkart; other relatives and friends. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Rob Groothoff.

Cremation has taken place, and a private family service was held.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Heartland Hospice and River’s Bend Health Services for their excellent care. Their support meant so much to us during a difficult time.
