Jerome C. “Jerry” Schubring, age 83, of Two Rivers, passed away Friday, November 21, 2025 at the Hamilton Health Services, Two Rivers.
Jerry was born April 30, 1942 in Green Bay, son of the late Lawrence and Frieda (Brockman) Schubring. He was a graduate of Valders High School with the Class of 1960 and later received his Associate Degree from Lakeshore Technical College.
Jerry served with the U.S. Army from 1960-1966. He was a member of the Army Band, marching at the Macy’s Day Parade in NYC and the Inauguration Day Parade for John F. Kennedy.
Jerry worked at Hamilton’s in Two Rivers and later worked for Met Life before his retirement. He enjoyed watching Brewer’s Baseball, doing puzzles and collecting coins.
Survivors include his children: Diane LeClair and David (April) Schubring; his grandchildren: Andrew (Christina) Tice, Alex Tice, Sydney Schubring and Darian Schubring; three great grandchildren: Amelia, Graysen and Ryleigh; brothers and sisters: Wayne (Diane) Schubring, Eugene (Joyce) Schubring, Lawrence (Sue) Schubring, Barb (Bob) Schroeder and Beverly Stan; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence & Frieda Schubring.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2025 at Lakeshore United Methodist Church (411 Reed Avenue). Officiating at the service will be Rev. Cherie Forret with entombment to take place at Knollwood Mausoleum at a later time.
The Family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Monday, December 1, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services at 11:00 a.m.
