Jerrod John Beatty

Jerrod J. Beatty, 51, of Manitowoc passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at his home.

Jerrod was born on August 29, 1971 in Manitowoc to late Ronald Beatty and Julie Wachowski. Jerrod was a graduate of Lincoln High School. On August 14, 1999 he married the former Anna Kocourek. Over the years, Jerrod worked eight years as a fabricator for Burger Boat, was an assistant manager of facilities for Bank First, and owned and operated MD Remodeling for 17 years. Jerrod enjoyed fishing, carpentry, and making his friends and family laugh.

Jerrod is survived by his wife: Anna Beatty; two daughters: Jordan and Rori Beatty; two sons: Jacob (Alyssa Petri) and Elias Beatty; seven grandchildren: his mom: Julie Apted; and brother and sister-in-law: Ron and Tammy Beatty. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jerrod was preceded in death by his dad: Ronald Beatty; step-dad: David Apted; and grandparents.

A memorial service to celebrate Jerrod’s life will be held on August 31, 2023 at 6:00 pm at First Lutheran Church, 521 N. 8th Street, with Rev. Andy Wendle officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at the church from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm.
