Joan (Schumacher) Boury

Joan A. Boury, age 92, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on March 30, 2026 at River's Bend, Health Service.

Joan was born March 11, 1934 in Newton, WI to the late Walter and Alexia (Kautzer) Schumacher. On  January 12, 1957, she married David Boury at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Manitowoc. WI.  Joan was a great housewife and a wonderful cook - she made the best spaghetti & meatballs, and 7-Layer Salad!

Survivors include her three children: Michael (Patrice) Boury, Lakeland, FL; Bill Boury, Manitowoc, WI; Nancy Boury, Waukesha, WI; four grandchildren; Nick Boury, Melanie Boury, Joelle (Jake) McDonald, and Jeff Lundy; one great granddaughter, Samantha McDonald; and one sister Romona Laurent, Manitowoc; also nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Joan was proceeded in death by her husband David; parents Walter and Alexia; one sister, Louise; and one brother, Walter.
