Joan Morse Obituary

Joan M. Morse, age 89, of Plymouth, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Songbird Pond in Plymouth.

Joan was born on September 15, 1936, in Greenbush, Wisconsin, to the late Joseph and Adeline (Stahl) Webb. She graduated from Plymouth High School with the Class of 1954.

Joan worked at Leys Department Store in Plymouth and later served as the bookkeeper for Morse Landscaping until her son took over the family business. She also worked as a line attendant at Great Lakes Cheese in Plymouth until her retirement.

She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, participated in Women's League Golf, and enjoyed bowling with her team. Joan spent several years living at Salem Green Apartments in Plymouth, where treasured friendships led to bus trips, movie outings, dinners with friends, and many enjoyable games of 31 with the ladies.

During the last two years of her life, Joan resided at Songbird Pond, where she received compassionate care from many wonderful caregivers there, and through Lily Hospice. Her family extends their deepest gratitude for the kindness, friendship, and exceptional care she received from each of these special angels.

Joan is survived by her children, David (Janice) Morse, Linda (David) Meyer, and Robert (Kris) Morse; her grandchildren, Seth Morse, Hannah (Austin) Holschbach, Travis Haack, Jamie Haack, John (Emily) Meyer, Elizabeth (Daniel) Fisher, Jacob (Courtney) Borth, Kelsey Borth, and Connor Borth; and her great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Khloe, and Kambrielle Haack, Archer and Everest Holschbach, Madison and Rowan Meyer, and Sarah Fisher. Brother-In-Laws; Lloyd Limberg and Cal Stoffregen. Joan is also survived by nieces, nephews and many other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Adeline Webb; her sisters, Marion Klahn and Faye Limberg; her brother-in-law, Merlin Klahn; her nephew, Daniel Klahn; and the father of her children, Thomas “Sam” Morse.

Pastor Emily Gilbertson will officiate the memorial service at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at New Hope United Methodist Church in Greenbush. Burial will follow at Greenbush Cemetery.

Family and friends may visit at the church on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her name for New Hope United Methodist Church, Greenbush WI.
