Joan Geraldine Sheehy, 88, of Pulaski passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026 at her home.
Joan was born on January 10, 1938 in Manitowoc to Michael and Anna (Kopidlansky) Kupsh. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On June 1, 1957 she married Harold J. Sheehy at Holy Innocents Catholic Church in Manitowoc, he preceded her in death on February 3, 1998. She was a dedicated wife and mom, dedicating herself to raising their four daughters and helping Harold on the family farm for over 40 years.
Joan was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Maple Grove and was also a member of The Friends of St. Patrick. She had a love for farming, animals, and enjoyed cooking meals, traveling, telling stories of the past, and cherished time spent with her family and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and activities.
Joan is survived by her four daughters: Diane (Randy) Griepentrog, Whitelaw, Lori (Todd) Lensmeyer, Whitelaw, Christine (Jerry) Collins, Green Bay, and Amy (Eric) Spratlin, Pulaski; grandchildren: Jason (Cara), Ashley (Kevin), Sara (Dereck), Kristen (fiancé Chad), Craig (Dana), Amanda, Yasmyn, Ty, and Zola; great-grandchildren: Hudson, Olive, Lexie, Abby, Solane, Gavin, Kyle, Griffin, Graham, Gabby, Lucy, and Chase; and two sisters-in-law: Elaine Kupsh and Darlene Sheehy. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Joan is preceded in death by her parents: Michael and Anna Kupsh; husband: Harold Sheehy; grandson-in-law: Peter; sister and brothers: infant twin sister: Janet, Harry (Delores) Kupsh, Joe Kupsh, Mike (Carol) Kupsh; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Alfred (Joanne) Sheehy, Robert (Alice) Sheehy, Patrick Sheehy, and Eileen (Chuck) Bernier.
A funeral service to celebrate Joan’s life will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 522 Tower Ave, with Rev. Dave Pleier officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday, June 7, 2026 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the church and again on Monday, June 8, 2026 at the church from 9:00 am until the time of mass at 11:00 am. Joan will be laid to rest at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Maple Grove.
