Joanna M. (Blatnik) Gregorski

Joanna M. Gregorski, age 81, of Manitowoc, passed away unexpectedly Monday afternoon, May 10, 2021 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Joanna was born on January 11, 1940 in Iron River, Michigan, daughter of the late Joseph and Cecilia (Fraser) Blatnik. She was a 1958 graduate of Iron River High School. On September 30, 1977 Joanna was married to Walter F. Gregorski at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manitowoc. She was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Parish and was an active volunteer at Woodland Dunes Nature Center. Joanna enjoyed all of nature and her flower garden was the envy of all. She was an accomplished artist and an avid reader, always having a book in her hand. She was the most thoughtful, decent, honest, loving person you could meet. Her love and compassion for those around her was unmatched. She will be missed but never forgotten.

Survivors include her husband: Walter Gregorski, Manitowoc; two step-children: Diana Sauer, Van Nuys, CA, Robert (Candi) Gregorski, Menasha; six grandchildren: Jeremy (Ashley) Sauer, Tyler (Krystal) Perez, Andy Perez, Alex Gregorski, Elizabeth Gregorski, Charlie Gregorski; three great-grandchildren: Scarlet, Luke, Delilah; three sisters: Jean Blatnik, Nancy Hacker and her husband: Neil Gneiser, Fran Blatnik, all of Michigan, her sister-in law Phyliss Ruck, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Cecilia Blatnik, and one brother-in-law: Ralph.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 14, 2021 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 South 14thStreet, Manitowoc. Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM. Entombment at the Calvary Mausoleum will happen at a later date.
