Where to begin the legacy of John P. Decker (aka "Johnny"). A strong family man to being a great friend, neighbor, teacher, coach and "prankster". His passion was to share his love of all hobbies including coaching volleyball and baseball, to building and participating in the AmVets Soap Box Derby, allowing quality time with his children. Another passion he had was motor sports. He began racing moto-cross at an early age to now riding his "BA" Harley Davidson Heritage Soft Tail Deluxe. Over the summer he rode his Harley to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally with his son Kyle and two other buds. He had the time of his life. John had a passion for the outdoors including fishing, turkey hunting and spending time at "da" deer camp. He shared his love for the outdoors by mentoring others in turkey hunting and teaching ATV safety classes as a nationally certified instructor. Johnny. He touched so many people and left an impression on everyone. We are so blessed we had 64 years with him. It may seem like a short time but he lived his life to the fullest. The family and friends will feel a deep loss but at the same time cherish all the wonderful memories.
