John C. Schultz, age 69 of Two Rivers, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.
John was born on April 9, 1956, in Two Rivers, son of the late Clarence and Mary Ellen (Krofta) Schultz. He attended St. Luke’s grade school in Two Rivers and graduated with the class of 1975 from Washington High School. He worked for many years at Fisher Hamilton in Two Rivers and later attended LTC where he obtained an associate degree.
John was a lifelong coin collector and enjoyed sharing his knowledge of coins with others. He also had a real talent for woodworking, especially repurposing scraps and making something out of nothing. John also enjoyed going to estate sales, playing cards with family, fishing, walking, and biking.
John was always looking for a laugh in everyday life. He had the ability to make people smile even when they were groaning at his jokes. Without a doubt anyone who knew him would say he was a real character. But he also had good character. His humor wasn’t directed against others. He had a warm heart and truly cared about the people in his life.
He is survived by one sister: Mary Ann Schultz, Two Rivers; four brothers: Robert (Julie) Schultz, Manitowoc, William Schultz, Two Rivers, Paul (Deb) Schultz, Two Rivers, Ronald (Betsy Bast) Schultz, Racine; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. John was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence and Mary Ellen Schultz; one sister: Catherine Schultz.
