Joseph E. Karl, age 84, of Manitowoc passed away Friday, September 1, 2023 at Frontida Assisted Living, Manitowoc.
Joseph was born April 22, 1939 in Kewaunee, son of the late Henry Karl, Sr. and Lucille (Klein) Karl. He had worked for Manitowoc Custom Molding. Joseph enjoyed hunting and was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Green Bay Packers.
Survivors include his children: Victoria (Richard) Hubbard; Christine Williquette; William (Mary) Karl; Kevin Karl; 7 grandchildren: Cynthia (Justin) Lienss, Holly Lehman, Tiffany (Raymond) Papapetru, Bradley (George Anna) Karl, Bryana (Kyle) Drumm, Brooke (Abraham) Butler, Brandon Karl (fiancée Shelly Pritzel); 19 great grandchildren; one sister: Clara Zimmer; one brother: Gene Karl; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Henry & Lucille Karl, a son-in-law Charles Williquette, siblings and spouses Virginia & Melvin Schulz, Henry Karl, Jr. & Gloria Karl, James Karl, Jean Karl, Vernon Zimmer, and two nephews Noel Karl & Mark Karl.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2023 at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Entombment of his remains will take place following services at Calvary Chapel Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the services at 2:00 p.m.
