Josephine Peak, age 64, of Manitowoc, passed away Tuesday evening, May 25, 2021 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Josephine was born on November 5, 1956 in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Vaccaro) Chira. She was a graduate of St. Barbara High School with the class of 1974. Josephine worked for Fleet Farm and Johnson Electric Coil over the years, but nothing was more important than taking care of her family. On December 19, 2009 she married John Peak in Lincolnton, NC. She enjoyed playing on the computer, dining out and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband: John Peak; her children: Leonard (Amanda) Miglieri, Frank Miglieri, Joe (Tanya) Miglieri, Mike Burda, Nicole Bloom; four step-children: Joe Ronkowski, Dawn Ronkowski, David Ronkowski, Nicole (Frank) Marzano; five grandchildren: Marcus, RyAnn, Payton, Joey and Emma; one sister: Pat Wambaja; six brothers: Frank (Marie) Chira, Ralph Chira, Fred Chira, Tony (Theresa) Chira, Angelo (Nancy) Chira and Mario (Jenny) Chira. She is further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Josephine Chira.
Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and a Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at the All-Care Reception Center (925 S. 14th Street), Manitowoc.
