Joyce A. Keenan

Joyce A. Keenan, age 85, a resident of Manitowoc passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the Aurora Medical Center of Manitowoc County.

The former Joyce Sindone was born on October 23, 1939, in the Bronx, NY, a daughter of the late Joseph and Lucille (Collariffi) Sindone. When Joyce was young she grew up in the Bronx and later she and her family moved to Detroit, MI where she attended local schools.

Joyce enjoyed playing Mahjong at the Manitowoc Senior Center, as well as card games at Yorkshire Lane Apartments. Other interests of hers included reading and crocheting.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Lynn (Randy) Merrill, Manitowoc; two grandchildren: Joseph of Sheboygan, Eleanor of Lacrosse; six great-grandchildren: Jacob, Giovanni, Piper, Kerrick, Evelynn, Lochlann; a special friend: Teresa Clark, Midland, TX; other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Mary Lou & Eleanor.

As per Joyce’s wishes there will be no funeral or memorial services. Cremation will take place with entombment of her cremated remains in the St. Ann Cemetery Columbarium in Midland, TX.
