Joyce Ann (Franz) Mrozinsky

Joyce A. Mrozinsky, age 85, a Manitowoc resident, passed away Monday evening, September 26, 2022 at Sylvan Crossings of Maritime Gardens in Manitowoc.

Joyce was born on January 20, 1937, daughter of the late Lawrence Franz and Marie (Schamburek) Herrmann and was raised in Manitowoc Rapids. She was a 1955 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On July 7, 1956 she married Roger Mrozinsky at St. Paul Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He proceeded her in death on April 18, 2017. Joyce worked for Sears since its original location on the river front in downtown Manitowoc, retiring in the mid 90’s. She enjoyed golfing, fishing, and loved to spend time with her family and friends at their cottage in Little Sturgeon, and wintering in Florida. Joyce and Roger traveled worldwide in retirement making memories with many friends and family.

Survivors include her five sons and daughters-in-law: Randall (Debbie) Mrozinsky and their children: Melissa Anhalt; Nathan Mrozinsky; Nicole Scherer; Nicholas Mrozinsky; Richard (Gemma) Mrozinsky, Sturgeon Bay and their children: Wesley (Audrey) Siepiela, Elijah Mrozinsky; Jonah Mrozinsky; Ronald (Jaime) Mrozinsky, Kellnersville and their children: Ethan Nelson; Samantha Nelson; David (Heidi) Mrozinsky; Francis Creek and their children: Molly (Joey) Geniesse, Caleb (Jenn) Mrozinsky, Grace Mrozinsky; Darryl (Beth) Mrozinsky, Glenbeulah and their children: Benjamin (Alyssa) Mrozinsky; Emma Mrozinsky; fourteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; three sisters Judy (James) Chizek, Manitowoc; Jacquelynn (Richard deceased) Terrien, Green Bay; and Jennifer (James) Sittman, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also proceeded in death by two sisters, Johnna VanElls and Joanne Franz; a brother-in-law Richard Terrien and her parents Lawrence Franz and Marie (Leonard) Herrmann.

A memorial service to celebrate Joyce’s life will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Grand Site, 1416 Grand Ave., at 11:00 am with Rev. Doug LeCaptain officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday, September 30, 2022 at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
