Judith A. Porier

Judith A. Porier, age 74, of Manitowoc passed away Monday, September 6, 2021 at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice facility, Sheboygan Falls.

Judy was born September 19, 1946 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Joseph D. and Geraldine M. (Pokorski) Stygar.  She was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the Class of 1964.  Judy went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics and History from Silver Lake College, Manitowoc.

Judy was a teacher teaching Home Economics at Bear Creek Public School District, Clintonville High School and the Two Rivers Public School District including LB Clarke and Washington High School.  She had most recently worked at Walmart for 21 years in various capacities.  In her spare time, Judy enjoyed making Barbie doll clothing, craft projects, crocheting, music, dancing and socializing with friends.

Survivors include her nephew:  Jesse (Sammi) Korinek, St. Paul, MN; grand nieces and nephew:  Aspen, Bailey and Joseph Korinek; a goddaughter:  Heather Pflaum, Savage, MN; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law:  Bonnie Day, Green Bay; Cora & John Moureau, Kimberly; as well as other relatives and friends.  Judy was preceded in death by her parents and a sister and brother-in-law:  Jan & Bruce Korinek.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at St Francis of Assisi on Marshall (1114 S. 21st Street), Manitowoc.  Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Ben Johnson with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
