Judith “Judy” E. Swoboda, age 76, of Two Rivers passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 29, 2025, at the Aurora Medical Center of Manitowoc County.
Judy was born on May 15, 1949, in Medford, a daughter of the late Norman and Jacqueline (Viegut) Fiedler. She grew up in Two Rivers and was a 1967 graduate of Two Rivers Washington High School. On July 5, 1969, Judy was married to Gary L. Swoboda at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on October 9, 2019. In the past, Judy worked at Eggers, Carron Net, and retired from Visible Ink. She enjoyed watching sports, especially the Green Bay Packers and NASCAR. Judy truly loved her family and spending time with them and taking care of her backyard animals. She was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her three children: Tammy (Robert) Helgans, Dave (Sally) Swoboda, Randy Swoboda, all of Two Rivers; five grandchildren: Kyleigh and special friend Leon, Autumn, Justin, Brandon and his fiancée Jennifer, Scotty (Sarah); twelve great-grandchildren: Olivia, Lidia, Mason, Madison, Giovanni, Xavier, Asher, Ares, Dominic, Daniel, Nora, and Harriet; one sister and two brothers-in-law: Lois (Pat) Jones, Little Chute, Richard Tracey, Pooler, GA; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Steve Swoboda, Scott (Valerie) Swoboda, all of Two Rivers, Vicky Swoboda, Manitowoc, Laurie Swoboda, Two Rivers; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Norman Fiedler and Jacqueline Fiedler-Gloudemans; one stepfather: Richard Gloudemans; her husband: Gary L. Swoboda; one sister: Gloria Tracey; two brothers-in-law: Tim Swoboda, Ricky Swoboda; father-in-law and mother-in-law: David and Doris Swoboda.
A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 3607 45th Street, Two Rivers. The Rev. David Arndt will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM.
