Karen Kostamo Obituary

Karen K. Kostamo, 80, of Sheboygan passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan County.

Karen was born on November 5, 1943 in Detroit, MI to the late Howard and Janet (Burke) Shook. Karen lived in Ishpeming and Republic, MI for several years prior to moving to Sheboygan to be near her family. She enjoyed baking, cooking, feeding her birds and spending time with her family.

Karen is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Rodney (Jenny) Klotz, New Holstein; daughter and son-in-law: Shannon (Tim) Olszewski, Sheboygan; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law: Larry (Inez) Shook, MI; one sister: Joyce Schulte, MI; special sister-in-law: Judy Shook, MI; special dog: Roxy; nieces, nephews, other relatives survive. Karen was preceded in death by her parents: Howard and Janet Shook; husband: John; two sons: Keith and Ronald Klotz; and three brothers: Gordy, Earl and Howard Shook.
