Kathleen M. Nytes, 79, of Plymouth, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024 surrounded by her entire family.
Kathleen was born on June 16, 1945 in Sheboygan to the late Walter and Alberta (Girdaukas) Schmidt. She was a graduate of Plymouth High School. On October 16, 1965 Kathleen married Charles Nytes. Over the years she held a variety of positions at Adell State Bank, currently known as National Exchange Bank. Kathleen was an avid reader, enjoyed golfing and most importantly cherished spending time with her family.
Kathleen is survived by her husband: Charles Nytes; children: Doug (Lisa) Nytes, Michelle Lunde, Nichole (Peter) Baumann, and Danielle (Bob) Stanick; grandchildren: Alexandria (Adam) Maurer, Stephen Nytes, Ashley Lunde, Justin Lunde, Elise (Dustin) Bahr, Nicholas Lunde, Brandon Baumann, Kyra Baumann, Serena Baumann, Samantha (Tim) Jeffers, Jordan Stanick, and Amanda Stanick; great grandchildren: Kristen Bahr, McKenna Bahr, Kinsley Jones, and Charlie Jeffers; siblings: Wally (Cecila) Schmidt, Georgianne (Lynn) Voeks, Robert (Judy) Schmidt, Mike (Robin) Schmidt, Ronnie (Francie) Schmidt, Susie (Gerald) Barth, Tom Schmidt, and Pat (Jodie) Schmidt; and sister-in-law: Kris Schmidt. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives, and friends. Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Alberta Schmidt; brother: Richard Schmidt; parents-in-law: Henry and Clara Nytes; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
A Memorial service to celebrate Kathleen’s life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Wittkopp Funeral Home, 123 South Street. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the funeral home from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Kathleen will be laid to rest at St. Patrick Cemetery in Adell.
