Keith J. Tess

Keith J. Tess, age 78, of Manitowoc passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital in Manitowoc.

Keith was born on March 3, 1947, in Manitowoc, son of the late Robert and Laurine (Sinkler) Tess Sr. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam from 1966 until his discharge in 1972. On August 29, 1970, Keith married the former Barbara Firkus at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. Keith was employed at Vinyl Pro Windows for many years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, AMVETS Post No. 99, Manitowoc Gun Club, NRA and NWTF. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and bird watching.

He is survived by his wife: Barbara Tess, Manitowoc; two children: Joel (Rika) Tess, Tokyo, Japan, Gina (Christopher) Foresta, TX; three grandchildren: Isabella, Samantha, and Andraya; seven siblings: Clayton Tess, Manitowoc, Bill (JoAnn) Tess, Manitowoc, Cheryl Floyd, Neenah, Robert Tess Jr., Appleton, Pamela Masci, Manitowoc, Deborah Green, OH, Lisa Tess, AZ; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Robert Firkus, Kimberly, John (JoAnn) Firkus, Kewaskum, Meg Schmitt, Kaukauna, Jerry Firkus, Kaukauna; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Laurine Tess Sr.; one sister and brother-in-law: Lois (Gerry) Hammersly; two sisters-in law and one brother-in-law: Nancy Tess, Susan Firkus, Jim Schmitt.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
