Lieselotte Carbon, age 92, of Manitowoc, died early Friday morning, November 12, 2021 at Hamilton Health Services in Two Rivers.
Lieselotte was born on March 5, 1929 in Butzbach, Germany, daughter of the late Rudolf and Emma (Koerber) Freymann. On November 24, 1955 she married Clarence J. Carbon at St. James Episcopal Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on October 19, 2020. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, St. Faiths Guild and a member of the choir for over 30 years. She enjoyed traveling to Germany to see family.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law: Brunhilde (Willibald) Krebs, Fort Walton Beach, FL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law include: Richard Herbeck, Camby, MN, Erika Freymann, Germany, Marilyn Schilling, Madison, Donald (Caroline) Carbon, Manitowoc, David (Jean) Carbon, Reno, NV, Suzanne (Randall) Avery, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Rudolf and Emma Freymann; her husband; Clarence J. Carbon; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Clarence and Alma (Reitmeyer) Carbon; one brother: Karl-Rudolf Freymann; three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Gertrud Fourier, Irmgard (Alfred) Hild, Ursula Herbeck; Dr. Robert Schilling.
Private family funeral services were held at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc. The Rev. Diane Murray officiated with burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
