Lillian M. Kubsh, age 87, of Manitowoc, passed on to Eternal Life on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
Lillian was born on May 13, 1938 in the town of Morrison, Brown County, to William, Sr. and Lillian (Decker) Novachek. She was a graduate of Reedsville High School, Class of 1956. She married Joseph W. Kubsh on June 24, 1959, at St. Joseph’s Church in Kellnersville. They enjoyed 64 years of marriage on June 24, 2023. Lillian worked at Mirro as a stenographer for six years before joining Joseph in the U.S. Army at Fort Riley, Kansas. After returning to Manitowoc and raising a family, she worked at Shady Lane for 24 years as a receptionist.
She is survived by two sons: Mark (Wanda) Kubsh of Francis Creek, Mike (Mary) Kubsh of Two Rivers; one daughter: Mary Jane (Derek) Biely of Manitowoc. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; one brother: Clarence, Two Rivers; two sisters-in-law: Joyce Novachek and Terese Kubsh both of Two Rivers; many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 2023; her parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Frank, Sr. and Emma Kubsh; one sister: Grace Dvorak; one brother: William Novachek, Jr.; three brothers-in-law: Joesph Dvorak, Quiren Kubsh, Frank Kubsh, Jr.; one sister-in-law: Marian Novachek; one nephew: Donald Dvorak.
Private funeral services were held at the Calvary Mausoleum Chapel on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. The Rev. Arogya Prashanth Gade officiated with entombment in the Calvary Mausoleum.
