Linda "Lin" M. Raether

Linda “Lin” M. Raether, age 72, longtime resident of Two Rivers and Manitowoc, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital. 

Lin was born on September 11, 1952, to the late George and Gladys (Wichmann) Raether. She graduated from Waukegan Township High School, in Waukegan, IL and attended nursing school at Lutheran General Deaconess School of Nursing in Parkridge, IL where she obtained a degree in nursing. She then became a traveling nurse, but she always returned to her home in Two Rivers and Manitowoc.

Lin had many artistic interests and enjoyed cooking. She loved helping others and traveling, her favorite place to live being in the West.

Lin is survived by her sister: Patricia (Stephen) Lapish; brother: Donald (Donna) Raether; cousins: Cathy Janes and Craig Janes; nephews: Joseph (Emily) Lapish; great nieces and nephew: Jordan (Tom) French, Tristen Lapish, Devin Lapish, and Jaden Lapish, Candice (Charles Best) Raether, and Nikki Janes; and great-great niece: Ridley French. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Lin is preceded in death by her parents: George and Gladys Raether; and nephew: Christopher Raether.
