Lois L. Pieschel

Lois L. Pieschel, age 74, of Manitowoc, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 14, 2025, at home.

Lois was born on February 16, 1950, in Manitowoc, a daughter of the late George and June (Heideman) Pieschel. She attended Manitowoc Lincoln High School and earned her certification as CNA. She was employed for many years as a CNA at the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross Facility in Green Bay. She loved raising her peacocks on her hobby farm, thrifting at rummage and garage sales, puzzles, playing cards, reading, watching Judge Judy uninterrupted, the Packers, dancing and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son: Michael Buschmann and his children: Chelsea, Zane and Blake Buschmann; daughter: Michele (Kenny) Schuch, Jr. and their children: Brandon and Riley Schuch; four great grandchildren; Sister: Judy (Jim) Janda and brother: Jerry (Sue) Pieschel. She is further survived by her aunt keeper: Jeanne Trettner and Jennifer Schneider, along with special cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings Larry Pieschel, Jane Trettner, Susie “Soupi” Pieschel and Tommy Archambault; and her father step father: Joe Archambault.

In respect of Lois’ wishes, cremation will take place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
