Lorraine E. (Boeder) Beeman

Lorraine E. Beeman, age 97 of Manitowoc, passed away on Thursday morning, May 18, 2023 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center in Manitowoc.

Lorraine was born on April 13, 1926 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Reinhardt and Valasta (Fictum) Boeder. She graduated with the class of 1945 from Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Lorraine worked for Mirro, Paragon and Manitowoc Equipment Works until her retirement. She enjoyed reading, crochet, knitting and playing cards.

Survivors include her three sons and one daughter-in-law: Kent Beeman, Kerry (Sue) Beeman, Kirk “Bucky” Beeman, all of Manitowoc; one daughter: Leslie Beeman, Manitowoc; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, 4 nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Reinhardt and Valasta Boeder; one daughter: Clara “Tootie” Beeman; one sister and brother-in-law: Dolores “Babe” (Tony) Anderson.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 South 14th Street, Manitowoc. The Rev. Andy Wendle will officiate with burial of her cremated remains to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.
