Lynn Castro

Lynn Castro, age 67, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Froedtert Holy Family.

Lynn was born on May 22, 1958 in Manitowoc to the late Diana Block. On September 16, 2011 she married Armando Castro Sr. in Manitowoc at the Courthouse. Over the years, she worked various jobs, working for Oddfellows in hospitality until her retirement. Lynn enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting, painting, and spending time with her grandkids.

Lynn is survived by her husband: Armando Castro Sr.; children: Shane Wilson, Tanya Dueno, and Joshua Wilson; step-children: Wendy Walker, Roberto Castro, Armando Castro Jr., and Robin Castro; grandchildren: Justin, Stephanie, Jason, Morgan, Alexandra, Tiana, Abby, Cole, Ryker, Kennedy, Cadence, and Liam; one brother: John Schenian; and niece: Carrie Sweetman and her children: Jack and Willa. She is preceded in death by her step-son: John Wayne Castro; mom: Diana Block; siblings: Carol Kronforst and Lee Schenian; and parents-in-law: Jose and Juanita Castro Sr.

A Funeral service to celebrate Lynn’s life will be held Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 925 S. 14th St, at 12:00 pm noon with Deacon Alan Boeldt officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm noon.
