Margaret K. DeBaere

Margaret K. DeBaere, age 86, of Manitowoc passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Margaret was born on October 23, 1938, in Marinette, a daughter of the late Gustave and Mary (Kehoe) Kitscher. She grew up at Twin Bridge in Marinette County and was a 1956 graduate of Crivitz High School. On November 3, 1956, Margaret married Donald A. DeBaere in Crivitz. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2000. The couple moved to Manitowoc in 1958, and Margaret worked at the Mirro Company as a supervisor.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Donald (Kelly) DeBaere, Marquette, MI, Dennis (Sarah) DeBaere, Mequon; four grandchildren: Audrey DeBaere, Manitowoc, Cassie DeBaere, Manitowoc, Brandon (Olivia) DeBaere, Toledo, OH, Lukas DeBaere, Mequon; six great-grandchildren: Kali, Mullen, Cebastian, Charlotte, Mason, and Blaire; three great-great-grandchildren: Kason, Maxwell, and London; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Gustave and Mary Kitscher; her husband: Donald DeBaere; one brother and sister-in-law: William (Donna) Kitscher.

Private family graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery with a Celebration of Life to be held at 2:00 pm on Friday August 8, 2025 at City Limits, 3627 County Road Cr, Manitowoc.
