Marie M. (Czechanski) Weber

Marie M. Weber, age 89 of Manitowoc, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday evening, March 23, 2023 at Harbor View Assisted Living, Manitowoc.

The former Marie Czechanski was born on May 13, 1933 in Two Rivers daughter of the late Albert and Edith (Kadow) Czechanski. She grew up in Two Rivers and was a 1951 graduate of Washington High School. On May 17, 1952 Marie was married to Louis G. Weber at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on November 28, 2015. In the past Marie had worked for the National Tinsel Company and Holy Family Memorial Medical Center. She was a member of Faith Church and participated in the past in the signing group “Reminisce”. Marie enjoyed homemaking especially cooking and baking.

Survivors include six children: Daniel (Suni) Weber, Waynesville, MO, Diane (Mike) Sheahan, Sheboygan Falls, Karen (Mark) Kandel, West Bend, Chris (Mark) Baumann, Sheboygan, Bill (Sunny) Weber, Manitowoc, Kathy (Brian) Rathsack, Reedsville; twelve grandchildren: Matt, Beth, Julie, Mark, Ryan, Scott, Steven, Kristina, Kelly, Joey, Barry, Tyler; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; one sister: Elaine Walkner, Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Albert and Edith Czechanski; her husband; Louis G. Weber; two brothers and two sisters-in-law: Robert (Marilyn) Czechanski, Alvin (Lorraine) Czechanski; one brother-in-law: John Walkner.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday March 31, 2023 at Faith Church, 2201 South 42nd Street, Manitowoc. Pastor Jeremy Vance will officiate with entombment to follow at the Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM. The lakeshore Family Funeral Homes, Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc location is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
