Mark Lyle Wilson, 58, of Manitowoc passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 8, 2026 surrounded by his loving wife and fur babies.
Mark was born on October 31, 1967 in Two Rivers to Lyle and Bonnie (Martell) Wilson. He was a 1986 graduate of Lincoln High School. Mark married the love of his life and best friend, Denise Weina on July 24, 1993. They were soulmates from the day they met and the connection they had stayed with them through the 32 years they were married. Together they enjoyed the simple day-to-day tasks, spending time with their fur babies, grilling and going out to eat.
Mark worked for Heiden Inc., where he was the head of the shipping department. Mark was an avid bow hunter, and enjoyed fly fishing, watching football, and golf. He was a die-hard Pittsburg Steelers, St. Louis Cardinals and the Philadelphia Phillies Fan. Mark was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and liked craft beers and bourbon.
Mark is survived by his loving wife and best friend: Denise Wilson; mother: Bonnie Wilson; mother-in-law: Eileen Weina; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Sister Deb Weina, Dale (Alice) Weina, Donald (Laura) Weina, and Dennis (Stacy) Weina II; nieces and nephews: Angela (Tim) Cortte, Jamie (Erica) Weina, Dale (significant other Chrystal) Weina, Kasia (Jan) Zellmann, Jennifer (Jake) Zimmerman, and Benjamin Weina; aunts: Kathryn (Phillip) Gauthier, and Barbara Schoknecht; and his precious fur babies: Louie, Daisy Mae, and Meow Meow. He is further survived by great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Mark was preceded in death by his father: Lyle Wilson; father-in-law: Dennis Weina Sr.; grandparents: Ivan and Josephine Wilson, and Robert and Marie Martell; aunts and uncles: Christine (Bob) Williquette, Yvonne (Larry) Wetencamp and Bill Martell; cousins: Angela Rezash, infant David Gauthier, Charles Williquette, Scott Williquette, Bruce Williquette, Jay Ott, and Jeremy Ott; and fur babies: Cleo and Meeko.
A life celebration to honor Mark’s life will be held at a later date.
