Marlene W. Meneau

Marlene W. Meneau, age 90, formerly of rural Whitelaw, and currently a resident of Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening, December 15, 2021 at the Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc surrounded by loved ones.

Marlene was born on May 5, 1931 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Emil Henry and Alma Erma (Steffen) Dehne. On June 17, 1950 she married Clarence “Clancy” Meneau. He preceded her in death on February 5, 2018. Marlene retired from Tecumseh in New Holstein where she had worked for 25 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. Marlene enjoyed camping, fishing and bird watching.

Survivors include her two sons: David Meneau, Whitelaw and special friend Susan Walters, Dennis Meneau, Whitelaw and his special friend: Sherrie Suettinger; four daughters: Christine Stangel, Manitowoc and her special friend: Lee Saeger, Judy (Joe) Dondlinger, Newton, Sharon (Loren) Barnard, Manitowoc, Melinda (Gordon) Kowaleski, Shawano; daughter in-law: Kristina Meneau; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren; one brother: Ronald Dehne, OK; one sister: Gretta Svatek, Manitowoc; one sister-in-law: Peg Meneau, Armstrong Creek; special friend: Rose Bottesi, Manitowoc,  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Emil and Alma Dehne; her husband: Clarence “Clancy” Meneau; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Arnold and Pearl (Rohde) Meneau; two great-granddaughters: Zoe Meneau; Samieh Schwab; one son-in-law: Norbert Stangel; one brother: Emil Dehne; one sister: Garnet LaRoque; four brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: LeRoy Meneau, Donald Meneau, Richard Meneau, Arlene (Robert) Kempen, Judy Meneau.

A Memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 1124 Main Street, Kellnersville. The Rev. Santiago Turiano, Jr. will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 PM until the time of service at 6:30 PM.
