Mary M. Greenwold, age 66, of Manitowoc passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at her residence.
Mary was born on June 11, 1959, in California, daughter of the late Thomas and Shirley (Foerg) Greenwold. She grew up in Manitowoc and was a 1978 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Following high school, she entered the United States Air Force serving from August 15, 1978, until her honorable discharge on April 09, 1996. She received an associate’s degree and following her military career she worked at Lakeside Packaging Company. She was a member of Otto-Oas VFW Post 659 of Manitowoc and the Manitowoc Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Survivors include her brothers and sisters: Richard E. Greenwold, Ocean Springs, MS, Eric E. Greenwold, Atlantic, IA, Susan Foreman, Navarre, FL, Carol Greenwold, Frisco, TX; one stepsister: Sharon (Raymond) Brock, Tuscon, AZ; nieces and nephews include: Richard E. Greenwold II, Rebecka (Mark) Somsel, Jennifer (Joshaw) Posen, Eric (Ashly) Brock, Keith (Jessica) Brock, William (Jenolyn) Brock; great nieces and nephews other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas Greenwold and Shirley (Greenwold) Simmer; her stepfather: William Simmer; one brother: Michael Greenwold; one stepbrother: David Simmer; one brother-in-law: Stephen Foreman; one sister-in-law: Belinda Greenwold; one nephew: Thomas E. Greenwold.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, 21 August 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi, Marshall Site at 11AM and the burial of her cremated remains will take place at the Calvary Cemetery following the Mass of Christian Burial. Military Honors will be accorded by VFW Post #659 of Manitowoc.
