Mary V. Hebert, age 90, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at her residence.
Mary was born on February 18, 1936 in Manitowoc, to the late Ervin and Josephine Schuette. She graduated from Mishicot High School. On May 20, 1961 she married James R. Hebert. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2004.
Mary is survived by her daughters: Margaret L. Hebert and Gina and (Bruce) Horkman; grandchildren: Christopher (Sarah) Bast, Rachel Hebert, Alex Horkman, and Amanda Horkman; 4 great grandchildren; brothers: James Schuette, Robert (Claire) Schuette, and Gregory (Jane) Schuette; brother-in-law: James Tuschl; and sisters-in-law: Kathy Schuette and Sharon Schuette. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Mary is preceded in death by her husband: James Hebert; parents: Ervin and Josephine Schuette; brothers and sisters-in-law: Jerry and Elizabeth Schuette, Ervin Schuette, and Guy Schuette; sisters and brothers-in-law: JoAnne and Roger Thom, Karen Tuscbl, Jacquelyn and Howard Schroeder, June Rose Anthony, and Nancy and Kenneth Lee; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law: August and Eva Hebert.
A Memorial service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 10:00 am at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 925 South 14th St. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 9:00 am until the time of service at 10:00 am. Mary will be laid to rest at Francis Creek Cemetery.
