Mary L. Komoroski, age 81, of Lyman, South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly at her home on July 13th, 2022. Mary was planning an extended visit to Wisconsin and Minnesota at the end of the month. The former Mary Hruby was born October 23rd, 1940, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late John and Frances (Konopacki) Hruby. Mary graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1958. On November 26th, 1958, Mary married Glenn Komoroski in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on March 22nd, 2020. Mary was an office clerk at Braun Building Center, having retired after more than 30 years. Mary and Glenn moved to Lyman, South Carolina in June of 2015, where they made many friends and were involved in their local church. Mary enjoyed crafting, doing puzzles, and loved the feeling of warm sunshine.
Mary is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Nick (Amy) Komoroski, Lyman, SC, and their children: Kim Komoroski and special friend Brandon, Milwaukee, and Aaron (Kendra) Komoroski, Reno, NV; three daughters and sons-in-law: Julie (Dave) Wilke, Manitowoc, and their children: Matt (Ashley) Wilke, Maple Grove, MN, and Tyler Wilke, Manitowoc; Cindy (Dick) Kaesermann, Manitowoc, and their children: Jordan (Jody) Bennett, Whitelaw, and Andy Kaesermann, Japan; and Lynn (Jim) Muenzenmeyer, Minnetonka, MN, and their children: Mandy (Weston) Wannarka, Coon Rapids, MN, and Brian (Megan) Muenzenmeyer, Chanhassen, MN. Mary is further survived by seven great-grandchildren: Max, Jack, Ben, Henry, Logan, Elena, and Isaiah; one brother: Jack (Karen) Hruby; three sisters: Karen Hruby, Marge (the late Dennis) Jerabek, and Ann (Sam) Vallone; and two sisters-in-law: Rita Novak and Pat Hruby. She is preceded in death by her husband Glenn, parents John and Frances, parents-in-law Helen and John Komoroski, sister Pat Gottsacker, brother Craig Hruby, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
A prayer service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, July 30th, 2022, at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th St., Manitowoc, with Deacon Mark Knipp officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:30 am.
