Mary Jo Duzeski, age 83, of Manitowoc passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025, and has been reunited with her high school sweetheart.
Mary Jo was born on December 31, 1941, a daughter of the late Theodore and Agnes (Helm) Havel. She attended schools in Two Rivers and was a graduate with the class of 1960 from Washington High School. On May 21, 1960, she married Mark S. Duzeski at Saint Marks Catholic Church in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on February 12, 2023. Mary Jo was a nursing assistant for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed walking and camping with her family.
She is survived by five children: Vicki (Paul) Bronzo, IL, Mark A. (Sibel) Duzeski, Belgium, Lisa (Peter) Martinez, MS, Paula (Pete) Scott, Franklin, Scott (Melanie) Duzeski, Milwaukee; six grandchildren: Paul Martinez, MS, Nicky (Lawrence) Dizon, MS, Casey (Marc) Brandofina, Glendale, Jason (Gabi) Bronzo, IL, Sarah Bronzo, IL, Brady (Brittany) Duzeski, Greendale; six great-grandchildren: Tres, Brianna, London, Layla, Blake, Tyler; two sisters-in-law: Alison Havel, Two Rivers, Jeanette Havel, MI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Theodore and Agnes Havel; her husband: Mark S. Duzeski; three brothers: Theodore Havel, Bill Havel, and Paul Havel.
