Michael E. Rathsack

Michael E. Rathsack, 80 of Manitowoc died Friday, September 29, 2023, at Sharon Richardson Hospice, Sheboygan Falls.

Mike was educated in Manitowoc Public Schools. He joined the Navy in October of 1960 serving in both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters. Mike was part of the Bay of Pigs off Cuba and throughout the Mediterranean Sea. He was Honorably Discharged in September of 1964. Mike worked in many states at many vocations until his 10-year employment with the 500 Line Railroad in Fond du Lac. He then was employed as an investigator for Law Firms for 40 years. Mostly living in Flatwoods, KY. He loved traveling, hunting, and fishing.

Mike is survived by his brother: Joseph Rathsack, Manitowoc; sister-in-law: Judy Rathsack, Atmure, AL; special friend: Judy (VanSchepen) Lorenz, Leesburg, FL, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife: Patricia (Charles) Rathsack; his parents: Jospeh and Clara (Liddle) Rathsack; sisters: Kathryn and Walene; brothers: Richard and Walter; and nephew: Ricky Rathsack.

Cremation has occurred with burial to take place in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. Per Michael’s wishes there will be no visitation or service held.
