Michael Repinski Obituary

Michael Allen Repinski, age 70, died on Sunday, April 19. Mike passed away surrounded by his family, after enduring a challenging health journey which he faced with strength and resiliency. He was born in Wausau, WI to parents Stanley and Alice Repinski. After graduating high school, Mike served a 40+ year career as a supervisor with GTE, Frontier, Verizon, and most recently Century Link. He was a dedicated worker who truly enjoyed his job. Mike married the love of his life, Kimberly (DeHaan), and the two faced many of life’s adventures and challenges together.

Mike will be remembered as a loud, happy man who was often filling the house with silly made-up songs that his family continue to sing. He was the family’s cook and grillmaster, with smashburgers and breakfast being some of the favorites. Mike taught hunter safety courses at Manitowoc Rifle and Pistol Club, as he was an avid outdoorsman with an affinity for hunting, fishing, and golfing. He loved his woods and cutting wood with Johnny. No one ever stacked that wood pile like Mike. He looked forward to regular hunting trips to Canada with a special group of friends. Mike also loved car racing and will be watching over his grandson Christian as he begins his own racing career.

Along with his beloved wife Kim, Mike’s legacy is carried on by his seven children, Jeremiah Repinski, Kristin (Barry) Heier, Lindsey (Jeremy) Hawig, Kortnei (Tyler) Lewis, Kara (Erik) Turner, Kayla Libby, and John (Jasmine) Henning. He was also the adoring grandfather to 20 grandchildren, Isaiah Krueger, Cody and Cameron Repinski, Christian Henning, Parker Turner, Evan Heier, Elias Libby, Logan Lewis, Oliver Hawig, Faye Heier, Olivia Lewis, Eden Libby, Case Hawig, Grace and Noelle Turner, Mya Lewis, Everleigh Henning, and Robert, Kennidy, and Oden. Mike is also survived by four siblings.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother. He was also preceded in death by his three beloved dogs, Tucker, Max, and Addy, who are once again running with Mike on his new feet.

“I love you a little, I love you big…”
