Norbert E. Pellow

Norbert “Norb” E. Pellow, age 86, of Manitowoc, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Shady Lane.

Norb was born on April 11, 1939 in Oconto Falls, to the late Lawrence and Marcella (Green) Pellow. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1958. On May 14, 1960 he married the former Shirley Wallau at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Francis Creek. Norb worked in maintenance for the City of Manitowoc at the Rahr West Museum. He was a part of the St. Paul’s Men’s Club. Norb enjoyed volunteering, playing dartball and cards, and cherished spending time with his grandchildren.

Norb is survived by his wife: Shirley Pellow; four daughters and sons-in-law: Joan (Ron) Pratt, Laurie (Brian) Rivest, Janice (Rick) Miller, and Julie (Randy) Schumacher; one son: Jeff Pellow; grandchildren: Brad (Mitra) Kopetsky, Christopher (Amber) Pellow, Autumn (Cody) Kortbein, Ashley Biszmaier (significant other Brian), Colton Pellow (significant other Ashley), Hannah Schumacher, Noah Schumacher, and Martha Pellow; 8 great grandchildren; mother-in-law: Eleanor Kozaczuk; and sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Irene McCown, Beverly Brown, and Roger Schroeder. Nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Norb is preceded in death by his parents: Marcella Pellow and Lawrence and Jennie Pellow; and his father-in-law; sisters: Ruth (Louie) Habeck and Helen Schroeder; and brother-in-law: George McCown.

A Funeral service to celebrate Norb’s life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 11:00 am St. Francis of Assisi, Grand Site, with Rev. Nicholas Stellpflug officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday at church from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Norb will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
