Norma L. (LaFond) Bonfigt

Norma L. Bonfigt, 80, of Two Rivers after 14 years with a progressive illness, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Golden Years Oasis in Manitowoc.

Norma was born on February 3, 1945 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Harold and Rose (Spaeth) LaFond. She was a graduate of Washington High School with the class of 1963. On August 1, 1964, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Benedict Bonfigt at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Two Rivers.

Norma was the devoted wife of Benedict Bonfigt; loving mother of Allen Bonfigt, and Lisa (Randy) Frey; proud grandmother of Kelsey (Spencer) Coulthurst, Jacob Frey, and Jenna (Riley) Luehman; and great-grandmother of Mia Coulthurst. She is further survived by her nephew, Stephen (Tammy Koxlien) Weld; nieces, Kaye (Paul) Michaels, and Laurie (Dr. John) Gommermann. Norma was preceded in death by her parents: Harold and Rose LaFond; her brothers: Robert (Jacqueline Beitzel) LaFond and baby boy LaFond; and her sister: Carole (Stephen) Weld.

A funeral service to celebrate Norma’s life will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Parish, 3201 Mishicot Road, with Rev. Dave Pleier celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Norma will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Two Rivers.
