Pamela (McPhee) Greene

Pamela Jane Greene, age 76, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026 in her sleep.

Pamela was born on June 7, 1949 in Joliet, IL, daughter of the late Floyd William McPhee and Phyllis Mae (Ashway) McPhee. She was a graduate from Bellflower Adult School with the class of 1971. On July 1, 1966, she married Thomas George Greene at Monrovia Christian Church in Monrovia, Indiana. She began her career at Kmart where she worked her way into a management position and later retired from Lehigh Hanson construction materials.

In her earlier years, Pamela and her husband moved to California and started their family. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling, mostly through the redwoods. She was very family-oriented, raising two boys and a host to friends, animals, and reptiles that they drug home. She also enjoyed spending time with her parents, her sister and brother and their children who meant the world to her. She was very close and dear to those who knew her and filled the voids in many people’s lives.

Pam is survived by her husband: Thomas Greene; son: Andrew (Dawn) Greene; grandchildren: Kenny, Emily, and Dylan, all of Manitowoc; her brother: James (Donna) Albert McPhee, TX. She also leaves behind a very dear and special friend Mandy (Rickart) (Mark) Mraz, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Pam was preceded in death by her parents: Bill and Phyllis; her brother: Donald Bradley McPhee; sister: Lynda Diane McPhee; and her son William Everette Greene and his wife Patricia (Sullins) Greene.
