Patty was called to Heaven on March 13 2026, after a courageous 7 year battle with Brain Cancer She passed away in Her home in Montello, Wi in Her Husbands arms.
Patty was born on February 6, 1950 in Manitowoc, Wi to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward and Cecilia Schleis.
She Graduated from Holy Family Academe in 1968, and married Her Husband Edward McIntyre Jr on May 21,1983, She worked for American Family Ins in Madison Wi for 26 years tell She retired in 2016.
She is survived by Her Husband Edward, Daughters Tania and Ashley, and Son Paul, Grandchildren Dacia Backhaus, Alexis Kinnamon and Hanna Coble and Great Grandson Clayton Backhaus. She is also survived by Her Brothers Edward Schleis and wife Joyce, John(Jackie) Schleis and wife Marge, and Ronald Schleis, Sisters Ann(Schleis) Kraemer and Husband Patrick, Kathleen(Schleis) Kluczinski and Husband Allen, Sister and Brother in law Cheryl and Kenny Krish, and Sandy Castaneda, and many nieces and nephews.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents Mr and Mrs Edward and Cecilia Scheleis and Brother Thomas Schleis.
A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Evergreen Cemetery, 2221 Michigan Ave, at 12:30pm with Deacon Alan Boeldt officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 South 14th St, on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 10:00am until 12:00pm.
