Patricia "Patty" J. Yankee

Patricia “Patty” J. Yankee, age 73 of Manitowoc, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital in Manitowoc.  

Patty was born on October 15, 1952, in Manitowoc, a daughter of the late Robert and Neoma (Schwanke) Oestreich. She grew up in Manitowoc and was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Patty worked for many years in physical therapy at the Holy Family Convent where she retired. On April 6, 1991, Patty married Bruce Yankee at Calvary Lutheran Church in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on February 25, 2022. She enjoyed camping and was a seasonal camper at Cedar Valley Campgrounds in Kewaunee for many years. Patty loved tending to her flowers and her gardens surrounding her home, and spending time with her dog, “Teddy” 

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Scott W. (Teresa) Yankee; two grandchildren: Tanner (Sarah) Yankee, Brandon Yankee and his special friend Daija Christensen; one great-grandchild: Freya Yankee; four special friends: Kris and Rick Schuh, Diane and Dean Ebert; other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Neoma Oestreich; her husband: Bruce Yankee.  

In respect to her wishes, there will be no funeral services. A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
