Paul J. Haas, age 78, of Manitowoc, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton.
Paul was born on January 5, 1947, in Manitowoc, a son of the late Edward and Mary (Hlavachek) Haas. He attended schools in Reedsville and graduated from Reedsville High School. He served in the United States Army. On April 5, 2003, Paul married the former Carol Hillemann in St. Paul, MN. Paul worked at Oriental Milling for 35 years and then at KK Integrated Logistics until his retirement. He was a member and past president of the Kellnersville Fish and Game. Paul was a dedicated family man and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife: Carol Haas, Manitowoc; four children: Teena (Steve) Ohlrogge, St. Nazianz, Andrew Haas, MO, Russ (Linda) Haas, Manitowoc, Joe (Katie) Haas, Manitowoc; six grandchildren: Brittney (Brian) Anhalt, Cedarburg, Brett Ohlrogge, Valders, Tanner Ohlrogge, Newton, Alexander Haas, Manitowoc, Ellie Haas, Manitowoc, Isaac Haas, Manitowoc; three great-grandchildren: Esme, Jaxson, and Millie; five sisters and two brothers-in-law: Mary O’Hearn, Appleton, Shirley Hofacker, Ladysmith, Jeannette Loose, Brillion, Carolyn (Ed) Tackett, Chilton, Lois (Robert) Lehman, Osseo; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law: Larry Draeger, FL, Phil (Carol) Draeger, Antigo; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Edward and Mary Haas; his first wife: Katherine (Draeger) Haas; one brother and sister-in-law: Robert (Elaine) Haas; five brothers-in-law: Tom O’Hearn, James Hofacker, Donald Loose, Jim Stein, John O’Conner Sr.; one niece: Lisa Biemann; two nephews: Ed Hofacker, Jon O’Conner Jr.; great nephew: Michael Hofacker.
A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the Lakeshore Life Celebration Center, 3613 Waldo Blvd., Manitowoc. Pastor Andrew Wendle will officiate. Relatives and friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Toys for Tots or the Lakeshore Humane Society.
