Ramona Ann Durben

Ramona Ann Durben, age 72, of Cecil, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay surrounded by her husband and daughter.

Ramona was born on September 28, 1952 in Peshtigo to the late Harvey and Bernice (Arruda) Neverman. On December 12, 1970 she married John Durben at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Manitowoc. Over the years she worked as a secretary. Ramona was a member of Green Bay Area Great Lakes Sportsman Club. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading, making scrubbies, and pontoon rides.

Ramona is survived by her husband: John Durben, Cecil; daughter: Tracy (Corey) Hucek, New Franken; granddaughter: Miranda (Andy) Conrad, Lena; siblings: Lorinda (Dale) Zunker, Manitowoc, Harvey Neverman, Decanter, IL, Walter Neverman (special friend Chris Kalina), Albany; siblings-in-law: Eugene Durben (special friend Denise Bittner); Susan (John) Jacquart, Sheboygan; Julie (John) Gadzinski, Manitowoc. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ramona is preceded in death by her parents: Harvey and Bernice Neverman; and one son: Cory Lee Durben.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Ramona’s life will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 11:00 am at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 South 14th Street, with Deacon Al Boeldt officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
