Randall "Randy" Robert Wilhelm

Randall “Randy” Robert Wilhelm, 64, passed away on February 8, 2026 after a short battle with cancer at River’s Bend Nursing Home.

Randy was born to Robert and Marjorie (Wilhelm) Cardinahl on November 26, 1961. He graduated with the class of 1980 from Reedsville High School. Randy worked at Lapcor Plastics and MCM for many years.

Randy watched and was interested in all kinds of sports, and he enjoyed and loved his doggy friends, Eddie and Lucky.

Randy is survived by significant other: Susan Knapp; his daughter: Amber Ruleau; granddaughter: Jazzy and Jayla; mother: Marjorie (Wilhelm) Cardinahl; sister: Cindi (Curt) Smits; brother: Ken (Kim) Wilhelm; Sue’s sons: Nathan Knapp and Jeremy Knapp; and the rest of the Knapp family. Randy was preceded in death by his father: Robert Wilhelm; sister: Sandi Wilhelm; step-father: Donald Cardinahl; and the mother of his daughter: Tammy Ruleau.

To honor Randy’s wishes, he was cremated and will be buried in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Reedsville. A private family service will be held.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at River’s Bend and Heartland Hospice for all the care and compassion given to Randy and his family.
