Richard “Dick” P. Hibbard, age 84, of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Saturday, June 13, 2026 with his family at his side at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital.
Dick was born September 25, 1941 in Manitowoc, son of the late Jerome and Lillian (Schweigl) Hibbard. He attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated with the class of 1960 from Lincoln High School. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and enjoyed the outdoors and having a beer with family and friends. He was employed at Mirro Aluminum for many years until his retirement.
He is survived by three children: Patricia Hibbard, Manitowoc, Pamela Hibbard, Manitowoc, and Perry (Cindy) Hibbard, Two Rivers; five grandchildren, best known as Opa: Ashley (Joe) Mrotek, Manitowoc, Payton (Kyra) Hibbard, Missouri, Casey Hibbard, Green Bay, Justin Tkacz, Las Vegas, Jessica Tkacz, Manitowoc; five great grandchildren: Gavan, Brayden, Sophia, Heston, and Logan; life partner: Mary Simono, Manitowoc; one sister-in-law: Nancy Hibbard, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He is preceded in death by his parents: Jerome and Lillian Hibbard; one son: Paul Hibbard; one grandson: Joshua Petersen; two sisters: Fran Hibbard and Carole (Fred) Reseburg; four brothers: Robert (Peg) Hibbard, Roland (Donna) Hibbard, Leroy (Beverly) Hibbard, and Rodney Hibbard; and good friend: Mike Theodorou.
Richard will be laid to rest at a later date at Calvary Chapel Mausoleum.
