Richard "Rocky" "Dick" Rocheleau Obituary

Richard D. “Rocky” “Dick” Rocheleau, age 91, of Two Rivers passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Aurora BayCare Medical Center of Green Bay.

Richard was born on December 2, 1933, in Two Rivers, a son of the late Leo and Helen (Phalen) Rocheleau. He attended schools in Two Rivers and graduated with the class of 1951 from Washington High School, Two Rivers. Richard served in the United States Navy from June 4, 1953, until May 31, 1957. On October 3, 1959, Richard married the former Marie A. LeClair at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Two Rivers. She preceded him in death on August 18, 2024. He was a tool and die maker for the Fisher Hamilton Company, retiring in 1999. Richard capitalized on his skills from the Navy and as a tool and die maker to complete projects around the family home on Sandy Bay Road. He took great pride in executing solutions to problems on the property and did as much as he could around the home for as long as he was able. Even as Richard moved into his early 90's, he still mowed the lawn, plowed the snow and cleared downed branches. In his later years he had many stories to tell about his adventures in the Navy. His family is going to greatly miss these stories along with his incredible quick wit.

Richard was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Parish and a former member of the St. Joseph Athletic Club. He enjoyed softball, hunting, fishing, and golfing.
