Robert "Bob" Peroutka Obituary

Robert “Bob” L. Peroutka, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026 with his wife at his side.

Bob was born on November 18, 1939 in Francis Creek to the late Louis and Mabel Peroutka. He graduated from Mishicot High School with the class of 1958. On October 18, 1969 he married the former Sandra Wiese. They celebrated 56 years of marriage together. Bob worked at Manitowoc Engineering and Rockwell Line. He was drafted into the United States Army in 1963 and got an honorable discharge in 1965. He was stationed at Bad Kreuznach, Germany with the military police. He worked at Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Wisconsin Fuel and Light, Manitowoc Crane as a welder, and worked his way up to welding instructor and traveled worldwide as a welder repair technician. Bob retired in 2003 and worked at Lakeshore Technical School as a welding instructor for five years. He was a volunteer at Francis Creek Fire Department for 50 years and active in St. Anne’s church. Bob enjoyed refinishing antique furniture and Indie car racing, Bob and Sandra were also season ticket holders for the Packers since 1957.

Bob is survived by his wife of 56 years: Sandra; and one brother: James (MaryAnn) Peroutka; sister-in-law: Renee (Ron) Prausa; and brother-in-law: James Wiese. He is further survived by special godchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Louis and Mabel Peroutka; sister: Mary Carol (Alvin) Knappmiller; parents-in-law: Harriet (Les) Gauthier; brother-in-law: Dallas (Lynn) Wiese and Lee Wiese.

A Funeral service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 11:00am at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Francis Creek. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, June 27 at 9:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Robert will be laid to rest at St. Anne’s Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the third floor nurses of Aurora Medical Center and Aurora at Home Hospice for all their care and compassion.
