Roberto Romero

Roberto Romero, age 70 of Manitowoc, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

He was born May 13, 1956, in Mexico, son of the late Guadalupe and Rosalia (Sanchez) Romero. On May 13, 1992, Roberto married the former Alice Orosco in Manitowoc. Roberto was employed as a welder at Parker Hannifin for many years until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife: Alice Romero, Manitowoc; four children: Alicia (Francisco) Trejo, Manitowoc, Rosalia Romero, Manitowoc, Rebecca Franco, Mexico, Victor Franco, Fond du Lac; twelve grandchildren: Jeremy, Nilila Lee, Amalia, Ariel, Vanessa, Alex, Ana, Elian, Wyatt, and “My Boys” Pablo, Alberto, and Luis; four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Guadalupe and Rosalia Romero.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2026 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 South 14th Street, Manitowoc. Deacon Al Boeldt will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home at 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:30 p.m.
